There are three types of accommodation at Arowhon Pines:

All rooms, bathrooms and lounges have been renovated in the last five years.
To keep the resort peaceful and quiet, there are no televisions, telephones or radios in the rooms.
There is electric baseboard heat, hair dryers, extra blankets and fans for hot nights (Sorry, no A/C), locally made soap and shampoo.
There are two personal floatation devices (PDF) in each room — extras are available in the office.

Accommodation

Rooms in Cabins

The majority of our accommodation is private bedrooms with private bathrooms, located in log cabins that range in size from 3, 4, 8 and 12 bedrooms, situated along the lake/creek shore.

There is a central lounge shared amongst the guests in the cabin, with comfortable sofas and chairs around a wood-burning fireplace, books and games.

Cabins have a spacious outside shared deck with Algonquin chairs.

Rooms have either queen beds OR twin beds (can be made into a king), perfect for two people. For three adults in a room, we add a rollaway cot.

There are two bathrobes in every room.

Rooms in Tanglewood, Sherwood and Bridgewood have individual small decks with chairs. Some cabins have a shared screened porch area.

We require a minimum two-night stay for this accommodation.

Families with Children

There is limited accommodation for families with children.

In our family accommodation, rooms have bed(s) for the adults PLUS a little alcove with bunkbeds OR space to add a rollaway cot.

Maximum capacity in our family rooms is 4.

Family Reunions / Special Events

Larger cabins with 3, 4, 8 or 12 Bedrooms are ideal for family and friend celebrations, milestone birthdays, anniversaries, class reunions, girl’s getaways and book clubs. Every age will enjoy the peaceful surroundings, canoeing and walking in nature and superb, casual dining.

All rooms have a private bathroom; all cabins have a central lounge with couches and chairs around a fireplace.

Let us know the number of adults/children in your group and we would be happy to put together a breakdown of rates. There is still some availability this summer if you wish to book a multi-room cabin - please contact us.

Two-bedroom cabins

Luxury 2 Bedroom Cabins

2 Bedroom Cabins have two large rooms each with a private bathroom. There is a central lounge with sofas and chairs around a wood-burning fireplace, books and games.

2 Bedroom Cabins have an outside area or deck AND a screened porch.

Rooms have either a king/queen bed or twin beds (which can be made into a king).

There are 2 bathrobes in each room.

2 Bedroom Cabins are popular and book quickly, usually for week-long stays. We require a four-night stay minimum for this accommodation.

Priority is given to guests wishing to book a 2 Bedroom Cabin privately.

There are a few times during the season when you can book one room in a 2 Room Cabin, sharing the lounge with other guests in the other rooms.
